	SMILEY - female pit mix, 1yr 4 months, white and brown markings, weighs approx 52lbs. Smilely was found on the cruel streets of Los Angeles in January, skeletal and very sick, the shelter said she'd have died within days!! A volunteer fell in love with her, and nurtured her for 3 months in Iso. Then they said her time was up, the shelter was full and Smiley had overstayed her allowance. I rushed to the shelter an hour before they were to euthenise her. As I drove her away, she fell asleep in my car, exhausted from her ordeal. We drove into the country where her boarding is, horse ranch land, and her little face peered out of the window sniffing smells she had never smelt before in her short and suffering life. Smiley is good with people, and seems fine with other dogs. She will need some basic training. She's an adorable puppy, very playful, affectionate, and will make someone a wonderful companion. Smiley really suits her personality, as she is always smiling. Adoption through rescue.
